James Bourne Biography

James A. Bourne is Vice-Chairman of Gurney, Becker & Bourne. He is active in community philanthropic organizations and has served as director and officer of a number of charitable organizations. Mr. Bourne has also served on local corporate and government boards.

Mr. Bourne has been active in the commercial and industrial real estate business for over 35 years, serving banks, public utilities and corporations throughout Western New York. He is a member of local and national real estate boards and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Mr. Bourne's areas of expertise include tenent representation, corporate relocation, feasibility study, site selection and general commercial and industrial brokerage. His clients include (but are not limited to): Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, Quaker Oats, John Hancock Insurance, Westinghouse, Co-Steel (Canada), Allied Signal, ISW Division of APS Inc., Kett Engineering, Ryder Transportation, Plymouth Tube, Rochester Gas and Electric, Dupont and Lockheed.
