James Mack Biography
I have been licensed in New York State as a real estate sales associate since 1987 and have been a consistent top-producing agent for the past 25 years. I became a member of the Gurney, Becker and Bourne team in 2009 and continue to rank in the top 10% of real estate agents across Western New York. My expertise is in the listing and sales of single and multi-family homes in the City of Buffalo (including Allentown, Downtown, the Elmwood Village/Delaware District, Parkside, and North Buffalo areas) and in the nearby suburban neighborhoods of Kenmore/Tonawanda, Amherst/Snyder/Williamsville, Clarence, Hamburg, Orchard Park and East Aurora.
My educational background includes an MBA from the University of Buffalo’s School of Management plus an advanced degree in Modern Languages. I have great interest in and knowledge about local architecture and historic preservation. In my spare time, I enjoy working on the renovation and beautification of my circa 1893 Queen Anne Victorian, practicing yoga and being a Buffalo-booster by attending and supporting many of Buffalo’s fine cultural institutions.
My civic and community involvement includes membership in two neighborhood association groups (the Linwood Preservation District & Friends Association and the Allentown Association), President of the Board of Buffalo United Artists (a theater- producing group), past president of Buffalo Frontrunners/Frontwalkers, and the Alliance Francaise. I am a long-time season-subscriber to Shea’s Performing Arts Center and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, a member of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Burchfield-Penney Art Museum, the Castellani Art Museum (Niagara Falls), the Darwin Martin House Restoration Project and the Graycliff Conservancy. Whether you are looking to buy, rent or sell, I would be happy to put my knowledge, my enthusiasm and my many years of real estate experience to use helping you with your first or next real estate transaction.
